Banana Chia Pudding Recipe

Posted by Amir Mostafavi on

Have you tried our new Chia Puddings at our brand new South Block Juice Co. located right next door to our Cafe in Clarendon?! They are sold in 8 oz containers for $6. Our chia puddings are the perfect food for your pre cleanse preparation & post cleanse diet to help re-introduce solid foods. All of our chia puddings are made using our Caveman Mylk (fresh made, non dairy cashew milk) as the base. We welcome you to grab a bottle of our Caveman Mylk and try out your chia pudding skills in your own kitchen. Here is the exact recipe of how we make our Banana Chia Pudding!

Ingredients: (2 servings)

8 oz Caveman Mylk (One 16 oz bottle makes 4 servings)

3 pitted medjool dates

1 ripe banana

1/4 cup chia seeds

TOPPINGS:

shredded coconut

walnuts

cacao nibs

Directions:

In a blender jar add the Caveman Mylk, dates & 1/2 banana (save the other half banana for later!) Blend until smooth. Then add your chia seeds. Mix very briefly in your blender, just for a second or so... you don't want to crush the chia seeds. Grab 2 small bowls. Now slice the other 1/2 banana into the bottom of your bowls. Pour your chia mix evenly into the 2 bowls on top of the sliced bananas. Let sit in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. Then top with a sprinkle of coconut, walnuts & cacao nibs. Enjoy right away or stick it back in your fridge for a healthy snack or breakfast when you need it!
